So I swapped the Porta Pro headband with the Koss + Retrospekt P/21 headband, and I'm loving the comfort so far. I like the fit better than the stock headband, and I think the sound is improved a little because of the better placement on my ears. I already have an original blue Porta Pro, but I got a black one for this mod.

Unless one is looking for a very specific form factor (small, light, open back, on ear, low impedance, goofy looking headphones) there is no reason to consider the Porta Pros today (IMAO). Even then, koss itself makes better options (the ksc75 for example or other models with its driver…surpasses the muddled porta pro).

The Koss Porta Pro Wireless are better headphones than the Grado GW100 Wireless. They are more portable since they can fold into a more compact format, are very lightweight, are more comfortable, and leak less. However, the Grado can be used wired too, which is very convenient if the battery is dead.
Me: The packaging is different from Koss’s official packaging in the US. The headphone model is real, but the packaging is off. It could be fake. May not be. But the packaging is definitely off.
